Unused Prometheus concept art 2
The preliminary design of the “Ultramorph” - which later became the Deacon - from the Spaihts prequel draft of what later became Prometheus. Originally the story, which was set on LV-426 in Spaihts’ draft, ended with a battle between Elizabeth Shaw (then named Elizabeth Watts) and this giant beast - the “ultramorph” which emerged from the dead Engineer/space jockey’s chest (in the Spaihts draft, the juggernaut crash and dead Engineer were the very same derelict and pilot from Alien).
Personally, I think it looks too much like what we’re used to from the past.
This is cool in that it calls up Giger’s older work
